创刊于1890年、由法国和荷兰汉学家联袂主编的《通报》关注藏学研究，其刊发的论文、书评、资讯展现了20世纪上半期法国乃至国际藏学的发展轨迹。通过梳理《通报》1890—1944年刊发的文章，可以发现，20世纪前半期法国藏学研究注重藏学材料刊布，研究视角转向汉藏对比研究，并运用文献释读的方法研究藏语音韵、宗教、历史等多领域。
Abstract：T'oung Pao, founded in 1890 and coedited by Sinologists from France and Holland, paid attention to the Tibetology studies. The articles, book reviews and information published in the journal showed the development track of French and international Tibetology studies in the first half of the 20th century. By examining the articles in T'oung Pao from 1890 to 1944, one can observe that French Tibetology studies in the first half of the 20th century emphasized the publication of Tibetology materials, with their perspectives shifting to comparative Sino-Tibetan studies, and used the method of textual interpretation to study Tibetan phonology, religion, history, and other fields.
