道家是中国古代主要哲学派别之一,也是中国传统文化的代表,主要代表人物有老子、庄子等,主要著作有《道德经》《庄子》等。《道德经》以其极具诗性的语言风格以及博大精深的哲学理念成为被外译次数最多的中国典籍,国外译介已达40多种语言文字,1000多部译著。自20世纪60年代道家思想被引入泰国后,陆续出现了30个《道德经》泰译本,成为泰译本最多的中国典籍,反映出泰国学术界和读者对道家文化的高度关注。本文首先介绍了《道德经》泰译本的主要特点,然后以道家核心概念之一的"道"一词为例,介绍了"道"在中国文化和道家思想中的具体含义,具体分析了泰国译者是如何翻译和阐释"道"这一极具中国元素的概念的,以此探究道家学说在泰国的传播与接受。

Daoism is one of the major ancient schools of philosophy in China. It represents an important part of traditional Chinese culture with Laozi and Zhuangzi as its main figures. Its main representative works are Tao Te Ching and Zhuangzi. Tao Te Ching, with its poetic language and profound philosophical concepts, is the book that has been translated most frequently among the Chinese classics. So far, it has been translated into more than 40 languages and has 1,000 versions. Since Daoism was introduced in Thailand in the 1960s, there have been 30 Thai versions of Tao Te Ching, which reflects the keen interest in it among Thai scholars and readers. This essay firstly introduces the main features of the Thai version of Tao Te Ching. Secondly, with the example of Dao as one of the core concept of Daoism, it introduces the specific meanings of Dao in Daoism. Moreover, with the aim of studying the spread and reception of Daoism in Thailand, it further analyzes how Thai translators render the concept of Dao, which has profound Chinese meaning in it.
